Programming LED Adaptive headlights on R1250GS (2023 model )
« on: April 27, 2023, 11:21:04 PM »
Hello,
I’ve 2023 R1250GS that came with Halogen lights last year. I bought adaptive LED lights from BMW and install it myself . Now it’s throwing High beam light error code. Has anyone done this upgrade ? How did you program the adaptive lights on the bike?

Thank you!

It would require coding/programming to make the change & as a new year model it is likely only the dealer would be able to do it, check the function chart to see what support for the model is in the current software release
https://www.hexgs911.com/function-chart/

It may also be worth asking support if they have listed the development work, if you have a GS911 they may appreciate an autoscan to take a look at the error code https://www.hexcode.co.za/contact-us-1

Hi Guys

Currently not, our main problem currently is that we don't have access to K001 US spec bikes. We're working on ways to get around this, for things like these retrofits on LEDs along with the instrument cluster configuration changes. All the new bikes with the XKOMBIHI (TFT) controller, with the exception of the US bikes, are allowed to change things like mph to kmph and PSI to BAR through the menus, so this is something we'd like to get developed as well.

Kind regards and safe travels
