low beam fault s1000xr 2021

hi!
i have a s1000xr 2021,
it has full led adaptive lights.
17000km.
today, i had a fault warning o  tft,
gs911 scan reported a low beam short to ground.
fault not present and once recurrence.

i cleared it .
is it a thing that can happen without a real fault?
only a software anomaly?

The fault is recorded as soon as the fault conditions are met, I would suggest copying your autoscan here or sending this through to our helpdesk for review.

From the description however, it is most likely that the low beam shorted out as a result of disconnecting temporarily, and has since been reconnected, causing the fault to no longer be present or give you a lampf warning on the dash. Alternatively, it might be a problem in the wiring harness itself.

Thanks, from what I can see for that fault code, the service plan is listed below:
Rule out faults in voltage supply of the vehicle electrical system.


Check the LED headlight voltage supply:

Check wires and plug connections.Check headlight casing, including internal electrical wiring.Check supply voltage at control unit output with looped-in test cable and test box.If none of the checks above result in a defect, renew the LED headlight control unit (observe the revision index).If renew the LED headlight control unit does not bring the desired result, renew LED headlight.

Although it is intermittent, it might be best to locate and fix the issue before it becomes a permanent problem.

it could be a battery issue?
i have a spare fresh battery
i could start to change it


i note that this low voltage warning is happened only while doing autoscan,
with engine NOT running

i can think that it’s due to fuel pump, all electronics and beams lowerin battery voltage.

this low voltage fault not happened while driving.

could it be?
