idle rpms

Hi All,

This is my first post here in the forum, so cheers everyone.

I bought a gs-911 recently and I have tried to solve a problem in my R NineT 2017 with my instant consumption value,which is not zero when driving without throtle in 6th gear going down. In that moment the bike used to show 0 liters of instant consumption and now it shows more than 2 liters.

I have tried to clear fuel adaptions and after it, not only have the same problem but the idle rpm are too high as well. Before the clearance it was 800rpm or so with engine hot, and now is 1400rpm or so.

Any suggestion?

Hello and welcome
I think that's a mechanical mistake.
Check throttle cables and stops. The idle position is not recognized. Function fuel cut does not work.

3A1581 : Lambda control Adaption, Bank 2, mixture correction factor below threshold

What does it means?

Hello

Average Lambda control factor bank 2 : 0.88 means runnig too rich ( low air / many fuel )
Throttle valve angle relative to throttle valve stop : 1.39 % > has to "0°" at idling
Engine speed : 1438.0 rpm > result of Throttle valve angle
and what I'm missing in your readings are the lambda voltages and lambda heater status
Checking as I wrote above

! Motor temperature : 132.5 °C !
! Motor temperature : 147.9 °C ! Please, don't let the engine run with such high temperatures.
! Damage to the engine can not be excluded.

Please use a seperate blower for the oil cooler. Thank you for regarding this note

Thanks for your answer.

I did clear the fuel adaptations and leave the engine running to relearn as the gs911 stated.

The throttle angle probably is the cause but i don't know how to reduce it. Any help on this?

The lambda voltage and heater status where can i find it?

Hi again, I have attached the GS-911 log for real values.

There you have I guess all that the tool can show.

Maybe with this you can help me.

I have checked throtle cables and looks fine, and throttle cable tension is ok as well.

So no idea why the values are over 0% for throttle valve.

Your readings confuses me a little bit.
If that is realy a R9T with the oilhead engine and you did choose the right bike out of the listings,
you better took a ticket for Hex-code directly. Reason, in your readings
Idle actuator position (cylinder 1)
Idle actuator position (cylinder 2)
Throttle valve position (TPS),  are not visible.

The throttle position is there but as you say the Idle actuator position don't.

It seems is clear that the throttle angle is more than the needed, and I guess if possible to modify.

Good Morning from the West Desert USA.  My k1600 (100,000 Miles) has a misfire.  I replaced all the coils and plugs in January and the misfire seems to be getting worse.  Mostly when the bike is cold or the first 15 minutes.  My GS 911 reads bad coils 3 and 4?  Anyway the Lambda Control Bank 1 and 2 are showing 'OFF" hen the misfire occurs.  wha exactly does this mean?  the only codes the GS911 picks up on is misfire Coils 3 and 4.  Thanks in advanced
