Real time values
« on: May 28, 2019, 08:09:02 AM »
I have a quick question I hope someone will help me with.  I have used my 911 to clear codes and reset my TPS on my 1150 Av.  I would like to get some real time values and was wondering what the sequence is for connecting the unit with engine running is  it connect the 911 and start the engine or is it start the engine then connect the 911. I would be delighted if someone could point me in the right direction as I don't want to fry the unit.
many thanks for all your advice.
cheers

Hi Dub 24

It really makes not difference at all.  Your choice entirely.  I normally connect the GS911 before I start the bike, but do not try to access it until the motor is running.  I have found that on certain older bikes that have aging batteries,  the WiFi connection will often fail or reset as the bike is being started, sometimes requiring the connection to be reestablished manually.
