has ur bike got film type sensor or lever{float} type
if it is film type sensor you have to remove it from the tank. dry it completely let it dry overnight its the easiest. then you need to plug it in but out side the tank and recalibrate. I think the is a detailed discussion about calibrating film type fuel sensors in general discussion
