ESA calibration fail
« on: November 01, 2013, 11:02:25 PM »
I was installed few days ago some used set  BMW esa suspension(white power) on my BMW 1200 GS adv 08 mod

The new(used) set become from Germanic breaker company.

Seller inform my that suspension was from an Adv 1200 and is ok for install on 2008 to 2011 models

When i receive new set it look perfect condition like new one...

I was proceeded to installation inside official BMW dealer in Athens Greece

When installation finish, the new ESA WP suspension needed calibration to work together with my motorcycle

That means connection with official computer systems... etc...etc....

Results? My new suspension don't accept calibration and the official computer system of "mama" BMW push out all procedure and

ask from technician to instal a new BMW ZFE unit by specific part no:61358536929

I am so sad... what happen inside BMW brain?????????

Any idea how can i pass between  those rocks?

If i will by something like this: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/390607169706?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649,.... maybe is a solution?

The BMW installer ask from me to buy a new ZFE part no:61358536929  because that ask the BMW computer system to calibrate my ESA and all electric component...

I am one step before craziness PLZ  HELP ME...

Wait for a reply from Cobus or others before going crazy.
Maybe the seller did give you wrong information? (model year)
If so I am sure you can return it.
(E-bay do help customers)
BMW workshops will usually want you to buy a NEW unit from them and that is just bad!
Good luck.
