R Nine T controller coms issue
« on: September 02, 2020, 10:09:08 AM »
First time I've ever had an issue with GS911.
R Nine T (K41) able to perform autoscan no problem, but if try anything else such as reset service interval, I get an error message saying "no response from controller" and cant do anything at all exept autoscan.
Anyone ever had this issue before or know what could be the issue?
Cheers

i just performed the update to firmware today...BIG  MISTAKE!  No my gs911 Autoscan no longer works.  I rebooted everything more than once including my k1600.  bad on me.  The past three time i did updates from GS911 there have been problems.  This autoscan issue is really bad.

Thanks.  Late last night, after about two yours of trying all sorts of work arounds I figured it out.  GS911 changed the software completely.  I actually had to delete my old install from Nov 2021 and reinstall the Gs911 program from scratch.  It all works now and actually works better then ever before.  I did a calibration on my throttle per what the BMW tech recommended.  The Engine light still pops up.  I need to do a code read tonight but I pretty much know already that it will be a plug coil.  The BMW tech said to repeat the code reading over a few days to make certain it is the same bad coil.  I have six new coils on order.  Going to just replace them all since I have over 100k miles now
