Set up error

Hi going through the set up process on my laptop having opened and followed the instructions of the Download Utility I plug in the GS911 and I get the message:

Failed to Communicate with GS 911 Interface
Please check that the Interace and the USB cable is connected 
Time out while reading response (1)

Any Ideas

Do you have the GS911 connected to the USB interface?

Using Windows 10 will give the same problem

How come software states it works with versions XP to 10

I have a XP, Win 7 and Win 10 laptop and all work. What is your OS?
