Battery drain . . . ?
« on: February 27, 2025, 08:18:03 PM »
Hi there,

I have an ezCAN in use on an R1200GSLC.

The quick question is: Can the ezCAN drain the battery?

The reason I ask is as follows:

I had a very happy set-up with one channel running the two front spotlights, one channel running the white side of the dual BMW badge light, one channel running the left indicator (in the dual badge light) and the other one, the the right indicator.

I want to use one channel to run some additional brake light LEDs . . .so . . . I joined the white side of the dual badge lights to the front spot-lights so they all operate together, leaving a spare channel for the new additional brake lights.

I tested all the circuits using the Diagnostics window sliders and they all work - but I'm surprised that the bike battery is flat!
Do you think I could've done something stupid to drain it?

Thanks
