GS 911 wifi

Just purchased gs 911 wifi, registered, downloaded software and operated unit both thru wifi powered by bike and thru laptop.  All works.  I am confused about software.  Downloaded 2703 beta that is good thru 10/1/2015.  I will be on a trip during this period.  Is this software resident on my laptop or in unit or both?  In other words, if I use the unit on Oct 2 thru wifi on my bike to scan and release faults, is it running on beta software?

The firmware in the GS911 is not beta, only the 1507.2 PC software for maintenance functions used via the USB cable

You could also download/install the 1506.1 release version PC software which is not time limited if you are carrying a PC during your travels
