Hi all I was wondering if you know of when it comes out the appropriate software for the new bmw s1000rr of 2015?

We are currently working on finalizing the emergency functionality (ecu info, realtime variables, clear fault codes) for the S1000RR 2015+
Development is also under way to provide Service functionality of the engine controller (reset adaptations, etc.) in the next Beta.

It would have been nice to be made aware when purchasing the GS911 that it would NOT work with the 2015 S1000RR. You would have to dig through forums to know for sure, how is the average consumre going to buy from Amazon or even goign to the GS911 site it says models supported http://www.gs911usa.com/Models_Supported.html. It doesnt say S1000RR, except 2015 at this time.

The Amazon site does not list the S1000RR as supported, that would cause people to make further enquiries before purchase. The Hexcode site does not list it as supported. What else do you need?

Really? Its the last bike listed. How can you comment it says it's not supported when it clearly says it is? Heck it even says of your bike is fuel injected with a round plug it will work.

So, let me get this straight.

I do my research, both in Amazon and the GS911 Website to ensure I'm ordering a compatible tool for my 2015 S1000RR just to find out that this is not the case?  Please tell me I'm misinterpreting something here.  There are even some feedback from S1000RR owners stating how well the GS911 works.

And yes, I just got my GS911 yesterday and after following the installation instructions, it is NOT working.

If you are in the USA I'd go to the importer Ted Porter http://beemershop.com/ , Ted is good guy and very helpful when (and with other stuff) I was waiting for the R1200RTW (LC) interface release.   The S1000RR is listed on the Hex Code site so it should work, but may be limited as other new model bikes are at this time.

I haven't followed this thread, have you activated your subscription and have the current updated firmware?

I work in the Engineering/Construction department for the United States Air Force and I fully understand that deadlines, schedules, and projections can change.  But as we work with CUSTOMERS, we try to provide good "customer service" by establishing a good line of communication and advise of any changes on projects.  Sure they don't like to hear that the "Estimated Completion Date" has change once again, but they are sure glad as hell that we are keeping them in the loop, especially when dealing with multi-million dollar projects.

I believe that as Hexcode customers (and potential customers) that is all we're asking.  Not to pull a rabbit out of a hat, but to let us know that the wheels are turning and if setbacks are encountered, to let us know what the new "estimated" completion date is.  Maybe set a weekly product update in your forum.

Rest assured that the beta team is being put to work at the current time and the work is underway, there are few items of housekeeping and communications which have been brought to Hexcode's attention so I expect they will take them on board and resolve shortly

Ted from the Beemer shop has been more than accommodating during all this.  He sent me a GS911 "Wi-Fi" version, which I got last night, and allowed me to returned the GS911 "Blu" at no additional shipping costs.

I've register the new unit (GS911 "Wi-Fi") and connected it to the 2015 S1000RR to see what would happen.  The result was similar to the "Blu" version, where I was able to see the bike, model, year, miles, service info, etc., but when I attempted to use the other functions it would not communicate with the bike and I would get a "motorcycle is not 'ON' ", generic message.

With that said, may I ask PEET (@HEX) if the GS911 "Wi-Fi" will work with the 2015 S1000RR once the new software is released, OR will I require a new version of the GS911?

I'm just trying to plan ahead so that if the worst case scenario were to happened, I know I'd have to schedule my first service with my local BMW dealership.

Bike has 586mi.  I got the oil, filter, and crush washer ready to go.

Yes,  the GS911 Wifi version will work with the 2015+ S1000RR when the new Beta is released.
We are also adding the S1000XR while we are at it.
