Ezcan switching off motolights on power down.
« on: March 08, 2025, 07:24:47 PM »
The frustration with Lone Rider Moto lights continues.

Turns out that one of the pair they sent was a dead unit. That was a waste of hours and hours. Good news, the replacement works fine….

But back to bad news…. They won’t turn on when I start the bike after a certain period of time.

When I plug my computer in to the ezcan it says, “Motolights have been turned off, click here to turn them on”. I turn them on, all good.

Turn the bike off, Ezcan is green light, turn ignition back on, lights work.

However, turn the bike off and after a few minutes the Ezcan light goes out, turn on the bike, lights won’t come on. Connect the computer, “Lights have been turned off” message again.

Surely there’s something going on here I’ve missed.

This is the most frustrating purchase ever. I know regret not just buying the Denali’s and being done with it.
