Pre sales question: Rear Indicators R1300GS
« on: January 15, 2025, 11:24:50 AM »
Hello.

I have a BMW R1300GS where the indicators on the rear are barely visible when the brake light is also on. Can I adjust this with the GS-911 so that the indicators are more visible? This motorcycle does not have a 3rd brake light in the middle.

Hi. I have the GS911 and a R1300gs and what you can do with it is very limited regards re-coding various features.
It just acts as a fault code reader, service reset tool and brake bleed tool at the moment.
There is loads you can do with the R1250GS though 😫

Well, in that case it would be a waste of money to buy one.  :-(

Thanks for your reply.

Hi guys,

We are constantly adding R1300 diagnostic features as they become available, but most of the R1300 generation coding features are now blocked by a secure coding requirement from BMW.
Unfortunately that means at present we cannot provide the combined turn/break indicator coding feature as on the previous generation.

Kind regards,
Francois
