Anybody has any information on this situation please?

I have 2021 BMW R1250 GS and I tried to switch the Instrument to sports mode using GS-911wifi using Android phone..

First I changed the start up screen to M version and it worked fine.

Then I tried to setup Sport mode and while doing the coding it gave error. And then I turned off and started the bike but this time no startup screen came out directly screen started and it was giving Anti theft alarm error etc! There is no alarm system on my bike at all.

Then I see the whole Instrument panel is not available. You only see the main screen without any detailed I formation. when I try to go to the Manuel's it says No Coding found etc. and it suggests to go to a dealer to check for it.

So it seems my instrument cluster is all messed up.

Any way to restore my instrument panel coding ?

I tried once to restore from Instrument Cluster Restore option selecting the latest known code for my bike it gave invalid coding etc.

update on the issue for the ones having similar issue:

The reason for this was the fact that phone didn't have stable internet connection and coding operation failed in the middle.

I did the same operation outside with good internet connection and GS911 app restored the controller and I was able to code it with the sport mode.

all instrument operations are back alive again
