Hi, Coded up an alarm on my 2019 R1250GSA today awesome update!

Is there a way I can code the remote key to turn the alarm on and off or do I just have to use it with the auto arm and disarm?

Is this the same version of the software that you can't seem to get working so that we can correct the issue that the device caused? How it breaks my ECU and all I have is some foreign cluster now that can't communicate with the engine. Is that the update I should be excited about? Since you marked the ticket as solved and my bike is just sitting there useless, I thought I would come here to point out that you didn't solve anything. But I know that you already knew that

I have a '24 K1600GT, I tried to update the screen to a "Sport Screen", no joy. Should this work with the K1600? A new icon was added to the screen, "Core". Core has a down arrow for selecting. When selected nothing happens.

I’ve had that once before and managed to sort it, it was caused because I had a very weak internet signal at the time and think it corrupted - changed the language to German on the TFT with very limited information

I don't think reply is germane with regard to programming the "Sport" screen. This option was just released this week...

Hi Glenn,

As I pointed out to you on our helpdesk these functions are extensively tested before they go out to the general customer base, and it has been performed SUCCESSFULLY by our customers 110 times just in the last week on controllers like your bike - XKOMBIHI.
Something quite unique is going wrong on your PC when performing the coding and we are doing everything we can with the information at hand to solve it for you. These changes are released on the BETA channel which you are currently part of - the latest version being v2406.91

Kind regards,
Francois

I believe on this generation of alarms the remote is always part of the key, so needs to be coded by a dealer. If using a key without dedicated alarm buttons then yes the auto arm/disarm is the way to go.

Hi

Hoping someone can enlighten me and hopefully others the "BOC Engine Temp Alt" function setting (in short) within the configuration menu - K50?

Apologies if stated elsewhere, have been unable find even a close description anywhere

I do also suffer male blindness

Thanks too the great development work being done

This coding option was believed to be necessary for the temperature dependant tacho on some models, but appears to not be relevant and will be removed with the next update.

Hi all, just received my 911 this morning, updated heated grip and TFT, but, I have tried to enable a 2nd hand pair of BMW spot lights and switch. I went into the option and it asked the brightness, switch or button and something else, but nothing that specifically says activate spots. I know it's a pretty new adition to the 911, and I did update to the latest firmware. Bike is a K50 0J91, R1250GS 2018/19 and lights were from a 2019 GS I was told by seller. Screen software version 023_011_090. I have emailed support but thought worth a try in this forum. Thanks in advance :)

It did exactly the same when I tried on mine. I reverted back to a cloud save and will wait for this to be tested a bit more before I try it again. Changing the startup animations doesn't seem to work on the K16GT either.

Retrofits and Removals are multi controller coding, so they are listed under the Service Reminder / Vehicle Functions menu right at the bottom after selected Detected Vehicle.

Thanks Wilco, from memory I can only see the Set Time and Service Reset options are available in that menu?

I arrived home from work this morning, connected up the spot lights, plugged in the 911, finally, I found the correct menu and activated the spots, happy days  :)
