Distance to valve check ... 406184 miles? Corrupt data?

I'm on a trip currently in Guatemala and fired up the GS-911 today to reset the service light after an oil change.
I've had a GS-911 since I bought my F650GS-twin in 2008. The "distance to valve lash" feature has always worked well for me.

But today when I checked the value, it reported the "Distance to valve check" as 406184 miles
I was running V2312.5  ...

I upgraded to the current version rebooted the laptop and reconnected my GS-911
but still got the same value with the current version of the s/w ... 

Is anybody else seeing this?

It's not the end of the world but thought I'd bring it up.............

I have saved Autoscans for the bike going way back, but the distance to valve check is not captured...

PS:  I tried using the "GS-911 LEGACY VERSION CODE:  V2107.1 to see if the value there was correct...

While  V2107.1  DID work with my red-WiFi GS-911 last year .. .
It now throws an error and states it will only work in conjunction with the older yellow-colored units...

Over 290 views but ... interestingly apparently no other similar experiences...   

Just my luck ...

I've owned the bike for 115K miles (since new) and found the "internal" counter to always give me a few thousand extra miles
presumably because I don't spend a lot of time with the needle on the tachometer buried ....

I reckon I'll just reset it manually at the next check, and hope it holds going forward.
