Installing OEM heated grip's on a R1250GS 2021
« on: February 09, 2024, 04:04:32 PM »
My friend bought this R1250GS without heated grip's, and now bought this used OEM Set from a wrecked bike.
Does it needs being programmed, or not.
Could it be done with the GS911 Pro?
Cheers Luc

Hi Luc

Not yet, we've released the coding for changing the amount of grip levels that can be configured, but haven't looked at retrofitting OEM heated grips just yet. You're welcome to send through an autoscan with this request on our support@hexgs911.com email, and we'll add that to the feature request list!

Kind regards
Ruan

Hi Ruan,
Thank you for the update.
I advice the customer to set up a meeting with the BMW dealership to have it programmed in the ECU for him...
Cheers and greetings from Belgium

Perfect Luc, once they equip it to the bike, he can come to you for increasing the amount of grip levels and configure them accordingly.

Kind regards
