TPMS ID support for 2023 R1250GSA
« on: March 13, 2023, 11:02:40 PM »
Greetings!

For model year 2023 (for at least the R1250GSA (K51)), the TPMS functionality has moved from a dedicated TPMS module (which is no longer present) to the Keyless Access module.

My question:  Does the current version of the GS-911 support this change in functionality (to read/update the TPMS IDs via the keyless access module)?

I ask as the Function Chart https://www.hexgs911.com/function-chart/#K001_K51_R1250GSA shows no keyless access functionality (XSLZ) and lists that the TPMS IDs are available via the Tyre Pressure Monitor XRDC module (not true for the 2023 GSA).

Also, your competitor, Motoscan, has not yet updated their software to reflect the change in TPMS functionality being in the keyless access module.

If you can validate the keyless access module supports the TPMS read/set functionality in a 2023 R1250GSA, you will have a new customer.

I look forward to affirmation of the same.  Cheers!

I can't answer your question but I will add that the manufacturer of the TPMS changed from Schrader to LDL Technologies in 2022. The sensors are not compatible. I will be interested to hear the answer to your question.
Hey BMW: No service manual = no new bike.

Hi Jerbro

There was another thread on the 1250 boards that has the info laid out for the late 2022 1250 bikes, I've included this below:
https://forum.hexcode.co.za/forum/index.php/topic,4583.0.html

In summary, yes, we support the latest XSLZ03 keyless ECU that is now integrated with the TPMS functionality, we plan to release this within this week or next, currently it is in beta and a few users have already confirmed it working as expected.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards
Ruan

To anyone who is following this thread, the GS-911 software has been updated allowing for you to configure the TPMS IDs by tire and either by sensing the TPMS ID or by manually entering the ID.

I verified at least manual entry by swapping the IDs front to rear and rear to front.  This worked - and the respective tire pressures were seen by the bike in the appropriate locations.

Thank you!

I followed the advice above
All in all, with the new software it seemed to work just fine.
