I bought a used 2005 R1200RT. I have replace the battery and install front and rear sensors. speedo reads 20 mph slow at 40 MPH (GPS is at 60). I have run Data collection on the sensors. Any ideas?

Remove and clean the rear sensor.
if necessary, change the oil in the final drive.
Abrasion on the magnetic sensor or wrong sensors.
Changed the final drive?

I have cleaned the rear sensor. I will change the oil and repost. Do you know what the voltages should be for the sensor?

Front wheel speed sensor voltage and
rear wheel speed sensor voltage readings in real time values
changes from ~0,5 to 1,5V while spinning the wheels, with ignition on

Cleaned sensor, changed oil in rear drive. The rear drive has been changed has a RTP ratio stamped on the bottom. A Dealer told me that should not be a factor. The oil change did not correct the problem and the ABS had the same error code. Speedo still slow.

Hello
I'm not sure, but I think that there is a wrong final drive.
There are 2 different ABS-sensors listed.
34 51 7 666 436   Raddrehzahlsensor with  O-Ring    11,3X2,2 > thats for your bike configuration.
34 52 7 677 824   Raddrehzahlsensor with  O-Ring   15X2 and for this one I think there is a ABS encoder
on the crown wheel which was changed in 2007.
Try to count the teeth, my old system has 84 teeth. If yours has fewer teeth, you've found the mistake :)

from the repair instructions!
WARNING

Installation of differently segmented crown wheels.
Malfunctions due to incorrect speed signals.
Install only the crown wheel that matches the motorcycle's construction status.

Quite correct there Schuppi.

You have the crownwheel from a later model.  Here is the the difference.

This is the one you should have

And this is most likely the one you do have

If the photo you posted is of your bike, it is the incorrect one.  The photo you posted is the same as the lower photo I posted, which is for the later model (2007 +) and thus the reason for the fault you have.

Abs modules are not interchangeable.  You would need to have the DME and ZFE from the same bike, which would mean that you also need the keys and locks.  Then you would also need to change the wiring harness as the wiring is completely different for the two models.

The other option is to find a 2005 or 2006 final drive to replace mine. Thanks for the help

That would be first prize, yes.
