F800GS Lambda
« on: May 05, 2018, 06:26:46 PM »
Just got a 2009 F800GS (30000 miles)and ran the GS911 auto scan and getting,

10010 Lambda (02) sensor (cylinder 1)
Fault currently present
Fault occurred 16 times
Logistic counter 40
Sympton : Signal or value over threshold.

Cleared the fault and rode for 20 km. Rechecked and got the above error.

When doing a lambda plot it started at 400mv and over the period 1.5 minutes dropped to 0mv and stayed they.
Valve clearance and plugs etc done at 24000 miles.

Is there any common problem areas.

Thanks.

Hello

If your measurement is right, power supply and connectors are good, then the lambda-sensor will
be faulty.
Replacement is necessary  :)

Yes, as Schuppi says, I would check the connector first.

Unplug it, make sure it i clean, apply some electrical contact spray, and re-connect.  Hopefully that will resolve the issue.
