Rev limiter 2017 s1000rr
« on: August 16, 2017, 11:27:37 PM »
Hi Everyone,
I have a 2017 S1000rr with 1400km on it. I like to take the rev limiter off and hooked up the GS911wifi through the usb port to my laptop. Running latest version of firmware on interface and on laptop.
Had no problem reading all computers in the bike and resetting the service reminder, but when it comes to take the rev limiter off, I can not find the option. Anyone has an idea how to do that?

Good news, the newest software package has now the option to take the rev limiter out. Download it from the website or through the update option in the GS911 program. Just a reminder- you will need an adapter from the round plug to the OSB plug on the bike.

So I cannot connect my 911 direct to a 2018 s1000rr to remove the limiter
Then ?

Okay, to answer the question about the connector. If you have an older version of the GS911WiFi with the round connector, you will need to use an adapter cable to connect the interface to the OBD-II connector on new BMW bikes. If your interface has the OBD-II connector, you can connect straight to the bikes connector.
