ESA Calibration Procedure

Hi Guys,

I have just replaced the rear suspension unit on my R1200GSA 2008 with ESA, I figure it would be best to recalibrate the ESA as I assume the settings are stored in the bike not the suspension.

What is the procedure to recalibrate the ESA units? Do you need to have the bike on the centre stand with no load on the unit or is it best to have load on the unit?

I love the GS-911 however the lack of documentation/procedures for using some of its function leaves something to be desired, unless I have some how overlooked the information?

regarding the info...all software if i can call it that is saved to the ecu however when replacing a spring strut( shock ) you will have to recalibrate the fitted unit
calibration should be done each time you unplug the esa strut
recalibration gets done on the main stand with no load as far as i know.
