GS 911 and Eee PC
« on: August 08, 2013, 05:29:24 PM »
Hello there

Thinking seriously about getting a GS911 but I want to be able to have the computer with me when I travel , so all functions are available. I have an old Eee PC running XP SP3. It has about 500MB of free HD space. Will it be able to run the software??

Thanks for looking

Martin

The Eee will work just fine- I bought mine almost solely to use with the GS911.
(I later swapped it for a Acer Aspire One)
Anyways- the Eee Pc function as well with the GS911 as any other Windows XP machine.

You may have a bit of trouble if you want to have very fast sampling rates with "Real Time Data logging"
That is the only thing I know of!!
The GS911 software is very small and using few resources.
3.6 MB or so installed.

I think we have 3 or 4 eee PC's - they all work great!
