gs911 help needed

can anyone please help

when plugging in the gs911 into my bmw r850r with starting issues the following message appears
Negative response received from controller subfunction not supported by controller or invalid format

Does anyone know the problem and what is needed to fix ??

Hi Phil,
think that are too little informations.
Please discribe these starting issues. Maybe there are some power supply faults,
which cuts the connections to the engine module.
