Would there be any problem charging the battery on a 2015 R1200 GS through the canbus while the 911 is hooked up? (or even directly)

No problem what so ever, charging is normal in a Pro Workshop, in fact when a Dealer programs the machine the charger is required and the voltage has to be over 14v or the Dealer Diags system will refuse to program it
