2007 F800GS fuel pump problems

Have problems with the fuel pump in this bike, sometimes it powers the pump and some other it does not.
Checked with an alternative controller with no results.
Is there any other recommendation on what to check?

Most likely the fuel pump itself.  There are aftermarket Bosch units available.
