Intermittent ABS Red warning light on R1200GS K25 (2004)
« on: August 27, 2015, 03:53:43 PM »
Hi All, Look for some advice on an Intermittent ABS Red warning light on R1200GS K25 (2004), used to come on occasionally, but becoming persistent. The 2 faults codes that come up are:

Controller Name : IABSCAN
Fault Codes : 2
- :
25071 : Faulty ADC value of front speed sensor
Currently present : YES
- :
25160 : CAN-bus timeout from Engine
Currently present : NO

Reseting them does not clear the red triangle, it remains red, instead of turning amber on power up. Anyone had this / fixed it?

Thanks in advance

Hello Eric

At first, welcome to GS-911 Forum.

Fault 25071 means, supply voltage of the sensor for longer than 64ms out of range. Procedure as always, check wiring and connectors.

I think the sensor have to be replaced.
Second fault will be deleted and observed. ;)
