Server go down
« on: November 22, 2023, 08:36:02 AM »
I used my 911 on my GS without any issues. However, today I encountered a problem where I am unable to connect to the cloud server when attempting to access the service functions. I'm wondering if the server experiences downtime or connectivity problems.  :'(

Hi Mark

Thanks for reaching out! Usually this is indicative of a WiFi connection either no longer working as expected, or the device has been set into device-to-device (D2D) mode. For the former, you can check the WiFi troubleshooting guide:
https://www.hexgs911.com/faq/how-do-i-troubleshoot-gs-911-wifi-problems/

For the latter, simply click the red button to switch it back to infrastructure mode - it will take a few second to turn the center LED green, and then beep twice to let you know a successful connection has been made to the WiFi network.

Let me know if you have any troubles.

Kind regards and safe travels
Ruan
