Real time value - front ride height

I was messing around with my new GS911 on my S1000XR and was having a look at the suspension real time values, and although it gave me a reading for the rear ride height of 2.00mm the front ride height didn't change from 0.00.    I also checked the wife's S1000XR and got the same.

Is this normal?
