21FA31 Balance-pipe valve servomotor, no feedback or adjustment error

Hello everyone,

I have just received my own GS-911 Wifi.

I have discovered this fault: 21FA31 Balance-pipe valve servomotor, no feedback or adjustment error. The fault is currently present.

Bike Details:
2015 BMW S 1000 RR
Akrapovič Slip-On Exhaust (end pipe only fitted two years ago)

Believe it or not my local BMW Dealer didn't mention anything about it (two weeks ago) when I put the bike into the shop for its last "warranty service" (or as I like to call it "an extremely expensive oil and filter change).


I carried out the GS-911 servomotor test cycle already and everything was okay, reset the fault code, but on the next engine start-up the fault code returned.

Do I need to reset or adjust anything regarding the servomotor?

Do I need to buy a servo buddy?

Any help or feedback would be appreciated.
