GS 911 wifi - no connection to wifi nor via d2d

Hello,
product is properly registrated using Version 1503.2 german. Connectiion via usb is working. Update check states "You are using the latest version" but for "GS-911 wifi interface: Update available". But I found no way to update this.
When trying to configure the device I realized that the popup menue (via" Tools -> settings") is not the same as shown in the quickstart guide.
What do I have to fill in the "wifi address"-field?
When testing the interface it states "Error while writing to socket".
What am I supposed to do?
Please help!

The symptoms you report sound odd enough to warrant lodging a support ticket

The update via WiFi launcher and USB should have updated everything.

You could also post the pic of the tools settings pop up you think is different, you would normally just enter the WiFi Network Name
