I noticed the new GS1300 has a sports dash with yellow highlights rather than blue. It looks extremely readable. This would be a nice option for the dash change on the earlier GS's with TFT.

whether or not those assets exist in the dash software is going to be the limiting factor there.

I would also not be surprised in the least if there was a firmware update at some point for the 1250 kombi that backloaded those assets just for the sake of a simplified build pipeline on BMW's side...  hell, GS, XR, RR, R, M, and probably some other boot-up screens are loaded across a ton of bikes already.
