I have a 2018 S1000rr race bike, with full RCK unlocked ECU etc. The bike connected ok to a RCK3 calibration tool at the track - but it won't connect to the GS-911 I recently purchased. It was also previously connected ok to a GS-911 previously. It seems to be working ok, I've checked the connections, but the program just won't find the bike. Any suggestions on where to start are appreciated.

I had to delete the GS911 app on my Win10 laptop and load a fresh copy from their website.  everything worked fine after the fresh load

Thanks, I'm also running Windows 10. I uninstalled the latest version of the software and installed the older version - will try again tomorrow as I don't have the bike at home. Failing that, I'll uninstall/reinstall again.

The new firmware update actually runs smooth once you can get it to work.  i like it better than the November version

yes. but I had to completely uninstall the older version otherwise i could not get the new version to work.  it would work but not very well.  It would not auto scan and i could not erase any old fault codes

Thanks. I'll try. This was my first ever time trying the GS-911, so it was a fresh install. But I'll try again

So, uninstalled and reinstalled an older version - didn't work. Uninstalled that, then reinstalled new version - again, wouldn't connect. Since the bike was previously connected to a GS-911 and it was ok, perhaps it is a faulty GS911? Because now I'm running out of options

Hi
I would try the GS911 on another BMW.
If it works there, the fault is to be found in your S1000RR.
