updating firmware stuck on step 1 of 4

I have a GS-911 Wifi and am trying to update to latest (11/20) firmware. I'm using the mac utility connected via USB,  It seems to stuck at "upgrade step 1 of 4."  The one light on my gs-911 is blinking green but nothing seems to happening.  This has gone on for the last 45 minutes.

Do I disconnect and retry?

Exactly the same happen to me, mi case in Windows.
The instalation didn't go through. It temporary shows, a message, and stuck at 1 of 4 updates.
