Showroom Mode

Can anyone shed some light on this code as it's preventing me from starting the bike. Why did it suddenly appear?

If you use the GS911 wifi utility (V 1702.1) go to engine controller then service functions, select BMSX Configurations and it seems you can toggle Showroom mode off and on.

I scared myself using the demo / showroom mode, my question is: what is this function for?

To answer the second question, mainly so that people cannot start those bikes you see on showroom floors and shopping centers even with the key in the ignition ;)
