Title: CoLight D09 pro
Post by: Edventure on June 06, 2025, 12:29:26 PM
Has anyone had experience of fitting the CoLight D09 pro?

They have main, dipped and amber daylight running lights and it's a 4 wire system. Any help appreciated

Hi Edventure

Thank you for reaching out. Any multi beam/colour light can be approached the same way. First, you need to identify which lights you want to use permanently, and which you want to have only on occasionally. For example, let's say you want your amber DRL on as a running light, and the main beam only on with high beam, your configuration can look something like this:

As the light shares a common ground, the ground for left and right can be connected to the red and blue outputs respectively.

Kind regards and safe travels

Thanks Ruan,

That’s really helpful. I was planning to run the Amber lights and low beams together as a daytime running light and then have the main beams running separately.
So I guess I will need to wire the Amber and low beams together on one circuit. If I do that will I still be able to control the intensity of the low beams?
Thanks in advance!
