Title: 1300 gs
Post by: Adam westerman on April 05, 2025, 12:40:11 AM
Hi all, can anyone tell me if we have the function to code out the additional bmw spot lamps from the vehicle, customers wants them removed for some denali lights but then of course there will be a fault on the dash if not coded out, do we know if it is possible on the 1300 if not do we know if and when it is likely to happen
Many thanks all :)

M1rek yeah but that would mean I need ista software and one of the latest software versions for use a 1300 on, I am ex bmw motorrad tech recently set up on my own I have a bmw icom but I don't have the ista software.
Is there a way to get the latest software without paying for it 😄 surely HEX will add it to the list of features etc for 1300s soon enough

Hi Adam

Just to add here, the R1300 bikes comes down to the new BMW coding (coding 2.0), which is primarily controlled with the new body domain controller. More info on this below:

Kind regards
