Title: Fault 41782 demonstration mode active

Has anyone come across this fault code before? 1200S Under vehicle electronics.

Hi Timcorr

From the service manual:
Fault origin
ZFE: Presentation mode active
Fault description

The presentation mode is active: Certain functions that are otherwise only available when the engine is running are available when the ignition is on.

Example: Heated grip.
Set condition

The fault code is saved if the presentation mode was activated via service function in a diagnostic tool.
Monitoring conditions
Voltage condition

Supply voltage between 9 V and 16 V
Terminal 15: on

Standstill
Service steps

Deactivate demo mode via service function in a diagnostic tool.
Fault impact
Visible effect

The low beam is already activated with terminal 15 on (otherwise only when engine is running).

All the ZFE functions which are otherwise only active when the engine is running are activated (e.g. Low beam, heated grip, etc.).

Just navigate to the engine ECU and service functions to disabled demo mode.

You explained it well. I had left it in workshop mode, not being overly familiar with the GS911.
