Hi, I’m riding a 2016 R1200RT. Would anyone be able to advise what do these two fault codes 0x481F8A (TPMS) & 0x80401D (Keyless entry) mean?
For the error on the front TPMS (0x481F8A), I had thought that the battery of the front TPMS was weak. But after a live scan, it showed that the battery was ok. I am able to clear the fault code but it would return after 10mins of riding with no reading on the dashboard and the front tyre icon on my RT’s dashboard would show red.
Here are the details for fault code of the TPMS:-
Fault Code Value 0x481F8A
Fault Code Description Tyre pressure sensor, front
Currently present NO
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) YES
Frequency count 1
Logistic (Healing) count 0
For the error on the Keyless entry (0x80401D), I am not able to clear the fault code at all. What could be the issues? The fuel tank lid was able to be secured.
