Title: K-line 2 status Stuck High
Post by: markinaz on April 23, 2015, 10:29:11 PM
What does this mean?

2003 K1200GT. ABS is not functioning. No tail or stop lighting. No speedometer. When the connector to the ABS unit is unplugged, k-line 2 status reports OK. Plugged in, status changes to "stuck high".

TIA

Mark

Dead ABS  :'( ,

A defective ECU can hold the line high or low, on your model the ABS must be on the second diag pin of the diagnostics connector hence the message K Line 2

Thanks for the info, a defective ABS controller was what I feared.
What does "stuck high" mean? Pressure? Current? Voltage? Something else?

Basically stuck at 12v, stuck low would be at 0v, also checked with a Pro mechanic  mate of mine, not unusual in the cars at least
