Hi there,

Is 2501.2 still the latest version?

Asking because I haven't used it in maybe a couple of months and mine is showing 2502.3

I wouldn't have downloaded it anywhere else other than here as I've always been very fussy about my software.

Other information from About shows;

About:
2502.3
GUI 1.207
Datapack 2.91
Scripts 1.97

Firmware Version
1.84 - 0.304
Base System Version
0.27 - 1.14 - 4

Datapack is the same 2.91 but my firmware shows 304 - have I missed something fundamental here?

If I have I'm blaming my age...:)

Thanks & kind regards,

Assuming you are referring to PC Application version

Check for updates in the PC App tells you if are updated to the latest release version of App, currently it is 2501.4 you seem to be on a beta to have the app report 2502.3 or the downloads page has not been updated

You can use the downloads page https://www.hexgs911.com/gs-911-downloads/ & highlight the installer with your mouse, at the bottom of browser window you should see the version

Hi Wayne,

Are the instrument cluster functions not supported for the 25' S1000RR? I performed an update to the GS911 yesterday and saw no special coding functions for the instrument cluster which I really looked forward to.

Thanks!

GS-911 / Fuel tank capacity question?
« Last post by GlynH on May 17, 2025, 04:35:44 PM »
Hi there,

Working my way through the menus there are some settings as follows;

Indicator auto off time  10 s
Indicator auto off distance  210 m
Rear wheel circumference  1903 mm
Speed sensor  48 tooth sensor
Fuel tank capacity

Clicking on the dialogue box adjacent to Fuel tank capacity shows the following settings to choose from;

8L
9L
10L
13L
15L
16L
19L
20L
37L

I was wondering exactly what effect selecting any of these capacities might have?

Reason I ask is mine is set to 8L by default and yet I have a 24L tank which is not even selectable from the dropdown.

Haven't got round to measuring the Rear wheel circumference or counting the teeth on the speed sensor yet...:)

Thanks & kind regards,

Technical / Re: RDC error: controller 0x6810, fault code 58635
« Last post by schuppi on May 16, 2025, 11:23:26 PM »
Hello

Ensure the power supply is secure.
The battery may be too weak. At least 12.6 volts with the ignition on. Use a charger.
The error code describes a lack of CAN communication between the RDC control unit and the display instrument.
Check the connectors, contacts, and wiring on both control units.

General Discussion / Re: 2002 R1150R brake bleed test

Hello

During the bleed test, the pumps are not running. You must set the front brake lever to its furthest reach
and then pull the lever toward the handlebar with all your strength.
Then the required minimum pressure can be achieved.

GS-911 / Re: low battery leading to no use of GS911
« Last post by GS Jim on May 15, 2025, 05:32:31 PM »
Trying to do any GS911 work without a charger is going to be difficult. Even using a trickle charger is probably not going to work well especially if you have engaged cruising lights that cause the low beam to come on along with the side lights without running the engine. Most trickle chargers only put out 800 ma and you may find that is not enough and will need a charger capable of 4 amps.
Last week I had to do a recode (restore) to the RDC (throwing constant erroneous faults on dash) while on the road so I unplugged the headlight to allow enough time to complete the restore before the voltage dropped below 12.5v.
