hi Everyone looking to get the gs 911 for my 2 bikes
trying to learn more about it before i purchase

Welcome to the forum, what the bike models you are going to use it on ?

Gs1200 and s1000rr

Gs1200 and s1000rr
The year model is relevant to know which model GS911 to purchase, early bikes had the 10p in round connector latest models have the OBDII connector, later models are also CAN-Diag not K-Line so need the red GS911, overall the GS911 WiFi model is the pick of the bunch for real time logging & ease of use out on the road capability

To add to that:
If your GS1200 has the round multipin diagnostic connector and your S1000RR has the later oblong diagnostic connector then you will also need to purchase the appropriate conversion cable.
As you are in the UK, are you a member of The BMW club? If so we have a GS-911and a converter cable to suit both of your bikes.

Thanks
I was quiet interested to find out how easy.ot is to use on Mac but some body responded to my post
So now I need to find out my diagnoses ports as GS might have old style as it is 2017 model
But s1000rr is 2019 so I assume it will be the indie one

The change from the round to oblong form factor connector was at the time of the Euro 4 model in 2017, so I suspect that will apply to your GS1200. If so you just need the GS-911 WiFi fitted with the later port for both bikes.
