Title: Failed to Connect to Server

Just got my GS-911 Enth BT in the mail. Get the message "Failed to connect to server: Connection to server timed out"after I install the USB drivers and connect

Server is up and running and works great... no issues there.. and no issues reported...

There could be several issues on your side...
1. internet connection
2. firewall
3. proxy server (the GS-911downloder uses the proxy settings as set up in Internet Explorer)

different network, different browser, different PC ?

what we've found as well as that the company firewall, (thus not the ones on your PC) also pose issues...

Same issue to me (running Mozilla firefox under WIN 7 Pro) Have GS-911 device already installed on another laptop successfully. Does this force the problem with the 2nd installation (on different laptop) with the same GS device?

no, you can download the software to as many PC's as you like... using the same GS-911...

you have an internet connection issue on the PC that does not want to connect... Firewall, proxy, network administration etc...

got it fixed by resetting OS and re-installing GS's USB drivers
