Title: ABS Bleed Test with GS911
Post by: sbrntnghm on October 22, 2015, 04:21:05 PM
Was going through the yearly brake flush on my 2004 R1100S ABS and had the GS911 hooked up. Noticed the bleed test function. What does this actually do? Have found an explanation on the internet about doing the flush using the GS911. Would appreciate any help.

That's for ABS- Integral-Brake booster

ABS bleed test would be done after you have changed the brake fluid.
This test will check the pressure in the hydraulic system for some seconds.
If there are any air bubbles in, you cannot hold the pressure on the required
level.
GS911 will prompt you to bleed the system again.

Thanks Wolfgang. Will run test. Hopefully brakes feel good as I don't want to pull the bike apart again.
