General Discussion / Re: 2008 K25 R1200GSA error code 24153 ABS coding error (variant coding)

The authorized dealer here will not do anything other than install a new cluster, and I'm not going to fork-out >SGD$2,000. The only differences between the original and used parts are the 'Factory I-Level' and 'Actual I-Level' figures for each cluster - whatever they mean.
Do you (or anyone) know if with this coding fault 24153 and the ABS warning light 'on', the ABS is actually disabled? The GS-911 real time scope shows the ABS enabled (1.0) with the ABS switch off (0.0). I have tried hard braking at low speeds but I find it difficult to judge whether the ABS is working. My gut suggests it is disabled because it is ignoring the wheel speed sensors.
How can the ABS warning light be deactivated? I could not find anything on the GS-911.
Many thanks in advance, Andrew
