hi drrider
am i right in saying you can not set the cruise control speed...
firstly make sure it is off lock position and check if it can set while riding if not a common problem is clutch switch not disabling as it should or you brake light switches are not working correctly...best is to check if clutch switch is operated when lever is pulled in and not opertated when let go...you can set the sensitivity of the switch as well by loosening the tiny grub screw and adjusting the angle of the micro switch

cruise is totally dead. it got a new switch, and gs911 function test verifies clutch brake and throttle switch operation. when using the cruise diagnostic routine mentioned in my first posting step 2 was as far as I could go. wondering if module is really bad
