25140 error run time error

Hi,

2006 K1200S. My ABS light comes on and speedometer does not work until I turn on/off/on the bike. 25140 error run time error. . any ideas? This problem has been going on for some time now. any ideas?

Both the Alarm and the ABS controller have logged an CAN communications timeout.

The cluster (KOMBI) gets it's speed from the ABS unit via the CAN bus (and the ABS unit from the speed sensor).
Which explains why the speedometer does not work AND the ABS light comes on.

This would suggest a wiring/bad connector issue in the harness or sometimes this occurs due to low battery voltage (something to do with how the controllers boot up during low power).

This problem usually occurs when it is really hot. 

I suspect that the power connection to I-ABS might have corrosion. I will clear codes. I might do a ABS flush and brake fluid change. This problem has not occurred over the past couple week.  I put a new battery into to M.C. so that might help.
