24951 ABS Motor Rear Defective
« on: October 17, 2014, 03:52:44 AM »
Hello
Customer dumped his 2006 R1200GS, did a complete brake flush. Ran fine for a week then both red warning lights triggered:
Error:
24971 Pressure in front circuit to high
24955 Pressure in rear circuit to low.

Bled the system again, reset switches, bike goes through a few braking cycles, bam error again.

Reset rinse repeat.

Now I get:
24951 ABS motor rear defective.

Is servo unit done?

Goggled this error nothing but one response comes up hence why Im asking for help.

Stephan?
Its Tomas here in Canada... :o

So I received a few of those similar low brake pressure codes when I was bleeding my brakes after ABS modulereplacement.  Have you solved the issue?  ABS Motor failure was diagnosed when my ABS module initially failed.  Now have rebuild ABS module and all fault codes are clear.

Are they able to repair the iABS (ABS III) Rebuild for BMW Motorcycles yet, or is your unit the older one?
