Engine won't start after use of the GS 911

(1/2) > >>

GSBMW:
Hello everybody,

Just connected the GS-911 to a R 1150 R double spark, and had a look to everything. Went into the hall sensor test and I beleieve I did press the start button, but without doing really the test.

And now the bike doesn't start. Took the battery cables off for a few minutes, checked the right injector and sparks on both sides, looks OK. When I put some gas directly in the cylinder by the spark hole, the bike caugh a little and stops.

What GS 911 is saying is to "remember to cycle the ignition" What does this mean?

Thank you for your help.

Inspector Gadget:
"remember to cycle the ignition" means that you will need to switch off the motorcycle/contact/ignition, wait a good 10 seconds or so and then switch on the ignition.

GSBMW:
OK, thanks, that's what I've done today. Unfortunately with no better results.

waldru:
Connect the GS 911 with the USB cable and start the hall senor test again and be sure that the test is regular finished.
I read some where that the not starting problems occurs if the hall sensor test is not complete finished.

GSBMW:
Yes thanks, I did it already, even with Zoöl from Hexcode. We were on the phone this week doing it together. Anyway I might try it again. At the moment I'm trying with fuse number 5.
