Yes, I sure am the same Haakon
I guess this is not actually a Hexcode matter so feel free to contact me by mail! (found on my "info" page here)
The total draw should be in the region of a few milliamps when the bike is sleeping.
I do not remember but think the BMS-C is totally shut off... will check.
Have you tried the spare BMS-C`s. If they shut off properly its the BMS-C that has a strange fault
If they too stay "ON" I suspect you have a "short circuit", most probably in the ignition switch region?
I am thinking of the wires insulation getting brittle and ...

Yes, I am back to BMS-C "work" after 10 years
If we are sure the fault is in your old BMS-C, check you spare ECU`s, using the GS911!!
With a bit of luck you can have a spare with the 5000 map?
I now use a ECU from a CS, that was bought with the with the 5000 map- and yes, I love it!
If none of them have the 5000 map.... I do have chips of all sorts- IF you want to do all that work.
(change the chip)
The 8000 map is not too bad, but you must buy the other type of injector to use it.
Contact me by mail,
It was nice to be "remembered"
Haakon
Thanks for the replies i do not have a TR650 just thinking about one.
Haakon are you still working with 650GS ECU's ? as I am sure we have crossed paths on other forum's (f650UK) and GS911 (the old forum) I have problems with my BMS-C not shutting down and have a small draw with it, I now have 2 other BMS units but really want to keep the 5000 software. So at the moment I just take the fuse out.
